The importance of Date Selection

It's been a while since my last blog post. I have been busy with life, but I have always practiced Chinese Metaphysics on my daily life.

A topic I want to talk today is about Personal Date Selection. There are good days, neutral days and bad days for each individual to do certain actions. If you select good days for things that you need to get results for (for example: job interview, salary negotiation, fundraising, etc), then you have much better chance of getting the results that you want.
 
There is no such thing as Good Day for everyone or Bad Day for everyone, because each day brings different energy that may match, compliment or against your personal energy. It all comes back to the birth chart. A good day for you may not be a good day for your friend, and vice versa. That's why picking Personal Good Days are crucial in improving your life.

EPL Feb 2022 - Man City vs Tottenham

Man City were unbeaten in the Premier League for more than 15 matches. Tottenham just lost 3 games in a row. Man City were hot favourites. 

I placed a small bet on Tottenham to win. The result?

Tottenham beat Man City 3-2. Everyone was surprised but I was not surprised. 

The $10 investment yielded $105 return overnight. 

About Spouse

The old theory said Direct Officer is the Spouse for woman, and Direct Wealth is the Spouse for man. However, there are examples of people without Direct Wealth or Direct Officer in their charts, and they still get married.

In my opinion, that old theory was accurate for the old society. In the olden days (when BaZi was invented), an unmarried girl/woman did not go out and find dates freely. They only interacted with a male when their family arrange a wedding/engagement for them. That's why in the old days, a female meeting a Direct Officer meets meet a Spouse.

In the modern days, girls/women go out freely. Meeting a Direct Officer just means she meets potential spouse. This could be a casual date, a friend introduced by family/friends, or random encounters. In the modern days, random encounters and casual dates do not automatically translate to marriage. It just means meetings. It can (but not always) turn to a marriage.

So, don't worry if you do not have Direct Officer or Direct Wealth in your chart. In the olden days, people should worry about that, because the condition in those days (people did not mingle casually with non-family members), but we live in modern days.

My point is: BaZi needs to be used/adapted according to the time and situation.

Just reading old text (without testing), can make you get inaccurate readings. In my opinion, all theories need to be tested.

EPL - January 2022 - Southampton vs Man City

Before the game, Man City had won 12 Premier League games in a row. They were top of the table by some distance, 32 points ahead of Southampton. Southampton were 13th on the table.

Man City were the hot favorite in this game. Many journalists, fans, and bettors thought this would be an easy game for Man City to win and extend their winning run. Bookies gave very high odds for Southampton to draw or win.

But I believed that Southampton could hold them to a draw. I have favorable Rob Wealth in my chart, which is favorable for gambling instinct. I put a small bet on Draw. 

The result?

My $10 investment yielded $60 return. A 500% profit overnight. 
How did I do it again? Favorable Rob Wealth.

About Wealth in Feng Shui

Many beginners think that if they activate Wealth Star, then they'll automatically get wealthy. This is incorrect. 

The Ancient Chinese like to use hyperbolic words to exaggerate things. For example: they always said "Wan Sui" to the Emperor, which means: "Ten Thousands Years". This does not mean that they expected the Emperor to live or reign for 10,000 years. The more apt interpretation to English is something like "Long Live the Emperor!"

Back to Wealth Star, it is also a hyperbolic term. In practice, Wealth Star is actually Work Star or Business Star. If you activate the Wealth Star correctly, you will get more work. For Business Owners, more work normally (but not always) means more money. For salaried employees, more work just mean ... more work 😄

There are no shortcuts in life, only in movies, books or TV shows. Some practitioners say Feng Shui is multiplier effect. You need to put something to be multiplied.

If you are prepared to work hard (more work/business, hence more money), then Feng Shui can help you to enhance/multiply your results.

If you do nothing and just dream of easy money, then you won't get any results.

There are certain birth charts that have windfall luck, but that's a different topic.

New Year 2022

The Lunar New Year will start on February 2022. 

Normally, every year many people will make predictions like these examples:

1. There will be celebrity or politician scandal. 

Which year doesn't have celebrity or politician scandal? LOL

2. There will be a new product become popular. 

Which year doesn't have a new product that becomes popular? LOL

3. The will be a rise of an important public figure. 

Which year doesn't have new people becoming famous or powerful? LOL

My point is general predictions mean nothing and for entertainment purpose only. 

Each year offer specific challenges and opportunities for each BaZi chart. Successful people will try to get a more specific reading tailored to their BaZi chart, but beginners will always read the generic reading only.

Which one are you? The one who wants to be successful or the one who wants to stay beginner?

About Date Selection

There are 2 known methods for Date Selection: 12 Day Officers and Personalized one.

The 12 Day Officers system has 12 rotating days, and each day is normally suitable or unsuitable for certain activities. 

I normally do not use 12 Day Officers system, because it's too generic.  Let me give you a couple of examples:

Example 1:
On a good day according to the 12 Day Officers; Person A, Person B, Person C all attending a job interview. Only one person gets the job. So is it a good day? It's a good day for Person A that got the job, but it's a bad day for Person B and Person C who don't get the job.

Example 2:
On a bad day according to the 12 Day Officers; 8 runners competing for a gold medal. Person A gets gold medal, Person B gets silver medal and Person C gets bronze medal. The other 5 runners don't get any medals. So is it a bad day? It's a bad day for the 5 that don't get any medals, but it's a good day for the 3 that get the medals.

In every given day, there are winners and losers in every aspect of life.

That's why I normally use Personalized Date Selection, because a day can be great for someone with a certain birth chart, while totally awful for another person with a different chart.

Personalized Date Selection is based on someone's birth chart, so a good day for each individual is different.
